Orlando Rangel, Jr. | Chief Executive Officer
Orlando Rangel Jr. is a healthcare professional with over a decade of experience, starting his journey in 2011 conducting multiple FDA-approved clinical trials for various chronic conditions. Transitioning into healthcare administration, he played pivotal roles in expanding medical centers and overseeing operations.
As the former COO of a Primary Care Group LLC, he managed a network of 14 affiliated providers before spearheading the rebranding and restructuring of Rangel Medical Center, culminating in a merger with Cano Health Inc. He was named President of North Florida, Mr. Rangel led 24 medical centers and a team of over 250 healthcare workers, including over 40 clinicians. In January 2024, he co-founded PrimeLife Health LLC and assumed the role of CEO, driven by a vision to revolutionize primary care by integrating preventive measures and cultivating robust patient-doctor relationships.

Orlando S. Rangel, MD | Chief Clinic Officer
Dr. Orlando S. Rangel is a highly esteemed figure in the realm of primary and preventive medicine, boasting over four decades of dedicated service to the field. He earned his Medical Degree from the Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas in Habana, Cuba, laying the foundation for his illustrious career.
Relocating to the United States in 1995, he obtained his Medical Degree in 1998, further enriching his expertise. In 2004, Dr. Rangel established the Rangel Medical Center, a beacon of health and wellness in the Tampa Bay Area. Over the years, this center has provided exceptional care to more than 5,000 patients, employing a team of over 10 providers committed to delivering personalized and high-quality services to the community. Recognizing his exceptional leadership and expertise, Dr. Rangel assumed the role of Senior Medical Director for the Central and North Florida regions at Cano Health in 2018. In this pivotal position, he spearheaded a team of over 40 primary care providers, overseeing the health needs of a diverse population exceeding 20,000 patients across various lines of business.
In 2024, Dr. Rangel co-founded PrimeLife Health, a testament to his unwavering dedication to primary and preventive care. With a wealth of experience and profound expertise in the field, he champions the belief that preventive medicine, coupled with a strong doctor-patient relationship, is paramount in achieving and sustaining optimal health and longevity. Dr. Rangel's areas of expertise encompass diabetic neuropathy, diabetes mellitus, chronic pain management, cardiovascular disease, hyperlipidemia, and dementia in the settings of primary care and family practice. His contributions extend beyond clinical practice, as he has also served as a Principal Investigator in over 30 clinical studies, significantly advancing patient care and medical knowledge.
Monica Chiang | Chief Operating Officer
Monica Chiang, is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 13 years of industry experience, currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at PrimeLife Health. Throughout her career, Ms. Chiang has assumed critical roles in Regional Management and served as the North Florida Market Senior Director of Shared Services at Cano Health. In these capacities, she oversaw the operational intricacies of 24 healthcare centers and successfully managed a team of over 400 professionals.
Ms. Chiang’s leadership abilities shine through her strong strategic planning, implementation skills, and effective team management. These competencies have played a vital role in streamlining healthcare operations and advancing PrimeLife Health's mission of delivering patient-centered care. Her extensive operational experience is a key factor in ensuring the delivery of exceptional healthcare services to the community.
